Integricity is Moving… yes, physically!

By Alex Lam | January 30, 2008

Hey everyone, we always move servers around, emails, people, websites, etc… but this time our office is physically moving. We’re a tad cramped at the moment and we need more space. We do apologise to all our family members who have had to endure a bit of a tight spot of late but we’ll have heaps more space soon.

We plan to move by next week, and renovations are very much underway… We’ll give all of you blog followers an insight into the state of things here…

Over here, we have the floor plan, and what we intend to do with the space.

And here’s how we got the space… empty, yes, butt naked!

And here are our Integricity “Heroes” checking out the office - looks like the line-up of actors from the series poster, huh? Which one is Sylar?

We decided to put in our own network cables - don’t really trust the lay-contractor with something that will literally be the lifeline of the business. Here’s Warren being spiderman…

When it gets late at night, you do tend to do silly things… But really, thanks for the immense help, Eric and Chui.

Yes, we had to ensure all the cables were neatly labelled. Or else, it would be a nightmare!

Here’s Jek packing up after laying 2.1 KILOMETERS worth of cables.

And here’s the three directors after a good night’s work… *yawn*

The next day after the cables went in, the partitions went up pretty quickly - see the left hand side! It was up in 4 hours only!

Then the hacking began… for the power lines.

A couple of days later, the gypsum walls were being painted.

And the tempered glass partitions went in.

That’s the frontage of the new Integricity HQ - still a little unfinished, but almost there.

Here’s the conceptual design for our new pantry minus all the wonderful food that will be stocked there of course!

Now to get the carpets, furniture, pantry, and oh yes… the foosball table and PS2! All work and no play make Jack a dead boy, right? Overall, we’re pretty impressed with the work our contractor put into place. If you’re keen to engage his services for your office, do let us know, we’ll let you have his contact details.

    Integricity,

Congratulations on your new office! I’ll be sure to visit next time I drop by Malaysia. And of course, I’ll be bringing in more dried mangoes given that your team is growing at an exponential rate. Hehe. What’s the headcount for the company by the way?

I was wondering whether the wall-painting you guys did a few months (or at least a year) back went for naught. I’m sure the fun factor back then was worth it.

Anyway, congratulations again and I’m sure you guys will love the corporate-look of your new office. =)

    Cheers,
    Vincent

Congratulations on the “upgrade”! Looking forward to paying your team a visit, and also dropping by the in-house bar =)

Thank you for the comment… Unfortunately, it is rented. We were in negotiations to buy 2 lots at Jaya One, but that didn’t happen. As such, we had to look for an alternative - then lo and behold, God opened the doors for Centrepoint. And that’s even closer the directors’ houses!
